Twenty-nine motor home owners are gathered for the serious purpose of ranking whiskey and reviewing meals. We have come from both coasts and borders north and south. Some of us are friends from other caravans and others are new acquaintances. What we all have in common is the joy of traveling and discovering.
Our first evening got off to a great start with a bourbon enhanced dinner prepared by Chef Mitch.
Everything, yes everything, was made with some bourbon: appetizers, pork chops, chicken, potatoes, and vegetables.
Barbara, his wife, made a bourbon sauced bread pudding that demanded diners have seconds.
Our co-caravan leaders George and Maxine provided advice on liquid refreshments.
With our appetites happily sated, our leaders Art and Ellen Brighton presented the rules of the road for our two week tour of bourbon and horse country.
After looking at the schedule, we know you readers will want to pack your bags and join our caravan. Your vicarious pleasures are our reality.
